Report to the High Lords of Terra, from the Watch Master of outpost Psi-Epsilon.
The recent greenskin offensive led by Nazrog Ironjaw has been turned back, albeit with heavy losses on all sides.
Imperial forces have regrouped on Altana Prime, and we have begun garrisoning more forces here at the Watchtower. We will use this as a base to launch our efforts to subjugate the rest of the system to Imperial rule, and purge the Xenos threats.
As such, we also must remain vigilant to all threats. Reports are coming in of a corsair fleet advancing on the system, perhaps to take advantage of the lull in the battle. We humbly request whatever additional assistance and resources can be sent our way to help us repel these threats and shine the Emperor’s light on this damnedable corner of the galaxy.

Battlefield: Altana-IV
Nominally under Imperial control, the system of Altana-IV features many planets that are either unexplored or outright hostile to imperial rule. The shrine world of Altana Prime is firmly under Imperial control, but the planetary defense forces do not have the firepower nor the will to subjugate the remaining planets.
This has led to many different factions (Eldar pirate corsairs, Tau exploratory fleets, and the kin of the Leagues of Votann just to name a few) claiming parts or all of planets in the system for their own use.
This peculiar arrangement has held together due to mutual distrust of all parties, and the uncertainty of victory by any faction if all-out war was to erupt.
The recent WAAGGHH of Nazrog Ironjaw did little to affect the balance of power, other than to weaken all sides, perhaps enough for a new threat to topple the entire fragile system.
Will you join the stalwart defenders of the system, attempting to protect and perhaps rebuild the fragile peace?
Will you join the battle on the side of the raiders to sow further destruction, chaos, and to watch the galaxy burn?
Select your faction, fight over these diverse planets, and see what personal glory awaits your warlord!
When registering, you will be asked what army faction you are playing and which Pact faction you would like to join for the event.
These decisions are not hard locked, and can be changed closer to the event, we just ask now so we can plan for faction balance.
The two faction pacts for this event are as follows:
Pact of Protection: You intend to defend the system of Altana-IV from all outside attackers. This could be to defend the holy Imperial Shrine world, to protect your xenos allies, or simply to stop the greenskins from wiping out the planets so you can pursue your own goals in the future….
Pact of Destruction: You intend to raid and destroy as much of the system of Altana-IV as you can. This could be because you abhor the xenos in this system and want to administer the Emperor’s justice on those who tolerated the aliens and gave them a foothold, because you are just looking for a good fight, or because you have other aims and weakening the current inhabitants will allow you to advance those goals…
